I was presented with an amazing opportunity to collaborate with the beautiful June (@junehsyun) and her baby, Et-i-kit for Singapore's Audi Fashion Festival 2014.
Please forgive my unphotogenic preoccupied facial expressions, I was clearly overwhelmed with my options and would've bagged home every item they had :/ If you don't already know, Et-i-kit is a multi-label store and online boutique carrying (IMO, very cool) emerging labels from around the world. They're located at 34 Kandahar Street and carry labels such as Addison, Bec & Bridge, Cameo, Finders Keepers, Keepsake, Mawi, Self-Portrait, Shona Joy, Stylestalker & Vita Fede. They're also bringing in leading Australian label, CAMILLA AND MARC this coming September so that's gonna be incredibly exciting!
Should've taken some selfies with their Iron Man Brick Bear lol
With June and my bags of surprises <3
I've been to quite a few boutique shops and what struck me about Et-i-kit's shop was the level of attention to detail that was put into the decor. I wanted to scream "ROOM INSPO" when I walked in, but I didn't so I made a mental snapshot of everything I saw lol. June is afterall, an awesome curator of spaces so I guess decor was 2nd nature to her. I should probably hire her for my room renovations.. I wish I snapped more photos of the place because the decor of their boutique is to-die-for, you have to see it to believe it. I don't know if you can spot their walls but I'm particularly obsessed with their perfectly uneven wall tiles. I heard from one of their lovely staff, Sarah that you can't have them on just any kind of walls. #whatonearth...
So the first outfit I picked out was from Cameo, in their Splendour Dress. It comes in an iconic geometric print which I thought was perfect for my 2nd AFF show with Desigual.
The Splendour Dress is a high-necked, boxy style dress that reaches mid-thigh length and was in a luxe material, lavishly sprinkled silver beads. How gorgeous is that?! I'm already thinking of ways to 'clock some mileage' on this dress heh. If you're not that into dresses, this print actually comes in a skirt or a top as well!

I picked out a 2nd outfit for my 3rd AFF show with Exhibit x Curated Editions. It was a 9pm night show so I figured this edgy, feminine yet borrowed-from-boys look would fit the feel of their runway theme. I was dressed in Addison, an NYC-based label, Alexa Tweed Moto Vest and Shorts, paired with Cameo's Spellbound Top in White. I went slightly fanatical over the pieces from Addison as they have such an understated yet polished elegance. When I discovered 3 pockets on the Alexa Tweed Moto Vest, I fell in love even more haha. I do realise I sound slightly whacky but you will only feel my joy after wearing them.
